London Trip Provides GCSE Art Inspiration

Posted: 12th February 2020

Students visited the Tate Britain on Millbank in the City of Westminster in London this week. Tate Britain is renown for being the home of British art from 1500 to the present day and offers a wealth of exhibitions, displays on specific artists and themes, the chance for pupils to walk through time and explore artworks and the opportunity to study the life and work of various artists.

Pupils did an additional walking tour of some London sites to take a series of photographs. The visit will be used as valuable reference material for Art preparatory studies in their red sketchbooks!
