Manor House School's Nativity 'The Sleepy Stargazer' to Air on BBC Radio Surrey

Posted: 12th December 2019

A group of Year 1 and 2 pupils of Manor House School outside BBC Radio Surrey to record their Nativity

Christmas is always an exciting time in the Prep School at Manor House School in Bookham. Last week, the girls were lucky enough to pre-record their Nativity Play, 'The Sleepy Stargazer', in a live studio recording with BBC Radio to be aired this Friday 13 December at 2.05pm. On Friday 6 December, girls in Years 1 and 2 made a trip to the BBC Radio Surrey studios in Guildford to record their Nativity. Please tune in to BBC Radio Surrey 104.6fm at 2.05pm to hear it. We look forward to listening but should you miss it on Friday, please go to https://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcsurrey and choose Joe Talbot's show.

Earlier this week, the Early Years and Key Stage 1 children performed the production beautifully to their parents and grandparents on Tuesday 10 December. They spoke loudly and clearly and sang with great enthusiasm. Teachers and parents were all very proud and the Nativity Play was a lovely way to think about the true meaning of Christmas.
